My story
What makes you fall for the sax?
Johnny Jones is a professional saxophonist from Prince George’s County, Maryland. A lover of music and the arts from a young age, he started playing saxophone at 9 and performing on stages at 12 — and also plays piano, sings, raps, and composes his own music. Johnny has worked as a professional session saxophonist across the DMV for corporate, government, and private events — both live and in studio — for over 15 years. He was the featured saxophone player for a major cruise line, performing in over 80 cities across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. Now based in Fredericksburg, VA, Johnny continues to perform throughout the DMV with a range of artists and groups.
